Merry Christmas! :D

We got a pre-cooked pre-seasoned turkey this year for Christmas dinner and it was phenomenal. I have never had turkey this good. Every bite a mouthful of juice. Got it at Whole Foods. I am certain they must've sous-vided it, judging by the kinda pinkish color of the meat and pool of the juice it was sitting in. All we did was convection roast it for half an hour to heat it up and boom, miracle-level good turkey. I can never go back: have to sous vide turkeys from now on.

Oh nice. We had a pretty quiet Xmas eve dinner. Just my buddy and his wife came over. Ate some hotpot. In bed by 10pm

Best Christmas is when all three of my children come over for Christmas dinner. They did all the cooking. I so missed the quibbling and jesting.............. can't buy good family memories. So proud of them........... every one of them turned out fine.

They're worried about the old man. I assured them I plan to be around for at least another 30+ years. Gonna hit the 100 mark. Centenarian, I'll be.

One last kick at the can..................

I never knew how powerful these two gals were. Out of tune the couple of times when singing in unison, but when they sing in harmony, it's magical. Ariana sings so effortlessly.

Move 103.5 started their Vancouver's only Christmas Music Station thing just over a week ago. So great to hear christmas music again. Only downside is, I have to switch stations as soon as Mr. Born in the USA and the E ewwww. Street Band songs come on. I can't listen to that shit.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town should be banned from the airwaves. nuff said.

I love what you do every year. How much of it is up year round?

Also, this can't be a one person thing, can it?

Thanks sir!
Every bulb comes down in Feb…the UV is too hard on everything and I can’t afford to replace it every few years. Plus it looks a little janky in the daylight.
I put up all the pixels and my wife the inflatables. Our line is that I do the techy and she does the tacky.

Techy Tacky..........lol. It works!

I do a little display for Halloween and I curse every time I put it all together, but in the end it's worth it when people appreciate and acknowledge all the effort.

thanks again for the video.

I’m just outside of Penticton, so if anyone comes up to the Okanagan for some skiing in December then you should come see it in person 😉

wife been annoying me to get another christmas tree as the current one had bettter days. any recommendations for one? needs to be atleast 6-7ft tall. been seeing them at $200- $300+ at the big box stores

i bought some led lights to decorate the tree that links up to an app on my phone so i can switch the colors for the kid. so the tree doesn't need to come with lights

Costco, there's no better tree to buy in the lower mainland. I did a bunch of research before replacing our last Costco tree, the purported manufacturer that makes the Costco tree typically costs around 1500+ if you buy it elsewhere. Of course you'd get more feature for it but the Costco tree is amazing.

i have the height but probably not that tall from costco

i guess most comes with lights now

EvoFire

I would honestly recommend against getting something that tall. We have a 7.5ft tree and it's a pain in the ass for me. It's super heavy and the bottom flares so far out that I have a hard time reaching the apex to put on the star. Can't argue though that a tall tree in our vaulted ceiling looks really good.

In the case of a vaulted ceiling, you need a tree like this to emphasize its height. Just use a ladder to place the topper.
