My 11 year old is quite good at this game, 10 times better at it then I am at PUBG and I probably have 5 times as many hours logged. I watch him play sometimes and I'm like how the fuck you win almost every one on one and get so many kills, feels bad.

I've been playing quite a bit of Fortnite. Building and destroying stuff brings so much more to the table than PUBG's gameplay, at least for me.

I'm on xbox (skeet604), I've been playing for awhile and its fun and super addictive to play aggressive. Been playing since release basically. Got the full version but I dont play much save the world, its fun and gets you free vbucks.

Best thing I recommend as a starter is to start in the outskirts of the map. NW corner is a great location. Has at least 10-15 chests in that area and fairly secluded. Once you get the hang of things, playing aggresive is much more fun. I used to do a lot of outskirts first and be fully looted up 5-10mins to all of a sudden get killed so the time wasting really sucked.

Also to fly further spam the parachute button and you will go further.. This will help get across the map easier and typically the further you go the less amount of people there will be.

New update is awesome, this is the best game to come out since Mw2 imo. Kudos to them for updating and making so many changes so fast. Keeps it fresh

My tip for beginners. Build Build Build

Shoot build, get shot at build, push build.. basically should be building a wall/ramp in 90% of your encounters/fights

Started playing Fortnite instead of PUBG and I honestly didn't think I'd like it this much. The building aspect didn't appeal too much but it's been really fun. It's also pretty awesome that I get to play with my friends that have PS4s.

been a hardcore pubg fan for the longest time but Ive made the switch over.

once you reconfig/remap your own building keys, its pretty fun. but agreed the building is whack lol. wish they had a no building mode
