I didn't do anything special like that, just when I was going to pull out I didn't realize how far that curb jutted out, or how close I was to it. So I did a little bit of damage to the underside/corner of my bumper. Oh well.

the 2 side vents direct air into the engine bay

ideally a vent installed on the rear glass hatch would be good but then you will need an airbox created since you will have to worry about sand, debris, water etc. if just left exposed like it is now

the current setup relies on the 2 side vents to direct air into the engine bay
cf shroud is covering up the whole engine bay with slits around to let air in but at the same time minimizing the chance of any sort of debris making its way up from the vents or anywhere else into the itb

not the best setup for sure as air temps are probably a bit higher but for the time being does not seem to have any heat issues as is - but we will see comes track days in august where temps should be the highest
