hey guys my car was involved in a hit and run yesterday in LOT C at white pine beach around 4pm. My DR650 caught the whole incident but unfortunately I cannot make out the plate in the video... if anyone else is able to, please let me know. I have his face and tattoo... The vehicle that hit me is a dark blue/black 2009+ Subaru Forester. I had a witness come forward later with a plate he wrote down, 187 TXW. I made a claim with icbc and they said there is no registered plate. Im guessing it could have been a 137 or a TKW, i dont know. Please PM me if you might know the guy or have any info. Thanks.

yeah... i think he was trying to shove my license plate bracket back in the mounting holes. im hoping icbc will try some number/letter combinations with the plate the witness provided to try and find a match with the car.

he didn't leave a note or anything either. I posted my video publicly on fb and he saw it on a fb group then decided to come forward and msg me. I don't understand why he was scared to get involved... :fulloffuck:

glad it worked out but time for a new dash cam.. blackvues are overpriced crap...none of the plates 20m across the lot are visible and I doubt it's only youtube compression
vicovation, thinkware, lukas/qiva might give you higher bitrate and not fail in the sun (it hasn't even hit 30 degress yet)

it doesn't sound like he's saying the person that did it confessed, more that the witness came forward after seeing it on FB.
