Around 10:50 about to do shift change at our store and an employee tells me to come outside and I see this.

A women going threw a diabetes charity bin. I see her standing on a shopping cart digging threw the bin. I ask her what she is doing she tells me to fuck off. I tell her to get down. She yells a bunch of shit about diabetes is not real and the first 6 feet is not my property. Tell her to get down or I am going to kick the shopping cart. She screams i"I'm pregnant (she could be lying) go back home bin laden I tell her to get down she does and then grabs a coffee cup. I put my hands up she starts swinging. I grab the headlamp off her head and chuck it into the street. She steps back about 6 feet and threatens to throw it. I say go ahead. She throws it and it hits my hip. Then she jumps in her car floors it in reverse does a 180 and takes off.

I called the cops one came by and could not do much and tried to get me to forget about it.

I was at Grouse Mountain this weekend and there was a huge line-up at the CS, which I had to do anyway as I was getting my annual pass renewed. Spent about 40min to get to the final row to the counter, then a lady budged into the lane all of a sudden about 2 persons in front of me. The gent right behind her complained and so did I, and the family in front of the lady.

The lady just said "I'm 8mth pregnant and I am not lining up in this weather and I don't care what you say".

I was like... da faq? if you can't stand the weather while being 8mth pregnant, maybe you shouldn't be here in the first place. People give priority to expecting mother out of a kind gesture, but it's neither a right nor a privilege. However, I was with my family and didn't want to argue with a pregnant woman.

Other people kept complaining all the way up to her when she went to the counter. The people at GM just told her that she needs to respect the line. The lady just kept saying she's 8mth pregnant. Then the CS just let it slide and started processing her stuff.

I was done about the same time the lady was because her husband AND DAUGHTER came in after to get their passes.

As we got outside one after another, I just went to the lady and her family while holding my son and said "you have a wonderful girl here and with another baby to come, I just want to ask you to please think twice about the role model you are setting for your kids next time you are budging the line. I know I wouldn't do that to my son" and left.

What these people lack is some basic sense of moral value.

I would not have done that and if the CS still let it silde I would ask to speak to their manager now because if that case then I won't be lining up as well and yell so everyone in line could hear this. Canadian diabetes is one of many organizations who collect for value village. Owned by TVI in Bellevue, VV generates over $1b annually.
Only a very small portion is actually donated to charity. Probably for tax purposes, and of course, to maintain their "charitable" donations.

Just throwing that out there. These organizations aren't as charitable as people might think
