Hi guys,

Just curious if anyone on here in an experienced Tig welder, AC in particular. Bought a new unit which I think is malfunctioning. I’ve been probableshooting with the manufacture, but maybe it’s me. I’d love to have someone experienced try out the machine and tell me I’m just an idiot. We’ve already replaced a foot pedal.

My tig work has been in a couple magazines, what issues are you having?

The arc cuts in and out when using the foot pedal. If I’m full throttle it seems smooth (although I still get some sparklies but that could be my setup etc). Anything less then full go and it cuts in and out like crazy. I swapped out the pedal for the button trigger and I ran a line down some 1mm aluminum without much trouble. New pedal came and it’s exacty the same.
