hey guys
i called icbc and they said its basically up to the instructor
on the website it just says "safe tires" but doesn't specify if winter tires are needed
i have all seasons, wondering if i should reschedule my road test in 2 days
does anyone know if they will let me do it in all seasons? or how many points they may deduct (if any) ?
much appreciated !!

if you have the option to reschedule it for 2 days later, that is a no-brainer.

Were you like 4 years old when you joined RS?
I can't see an instructor expecting someone to take a road test in these conditions.
any slipping, auto fail
no parallel park
chances are they'll close shop :lawl:

Main roads are completely fine right now, crews took care of everything. I would only worry about the small streets. I remember reading on a long time ago that it was super easy to pass the test because driving slow = safe

No need to change lol. Just show up to the test with a ferrari, wearing Canada Goose Jacket and a stack of $100 on the passenger seat. You will pass for sure!

While I agree that was a reasonable choice, in Ontario this would be no reason not to do your road test. I did my equivalent of L to N in a major snowstorm. I do recall having to ask the examiner if he would be particularly ruthless with lane discipline, since neither of us had any idea where the lanes might actually be.
Fun times.

I did my class 5 in the snow and pass with almost perfect score.
It was fast. drove around 2 block and stall parked and done..
This was back in 1996

Did mine in 07 and it had snowed the night previous, my class 5 test was in Burnaby and they gave me the option to reschedule, but I chose to do it and it was great because I kept it under the limit the whole time didn't have to worry about speeding in school zones or driving too fast on the offramp

My road test for my Class 5 was in the early 2000s, and it was the first day the office was open after a snow storm. There was hardly any traffic on the roads. Most of the time I was doing 30 k because of road conditions.
