I received a parking violation yesterday afternoon in Richmond, and I went online to pay it now, but it doesn't appear when I search for it by either ticket number or lic. plate.
I'm definitely using the website correctly as this is unfortunately not the first parking VT i've paid for.

Is there possibly a delay for the ticket being available online to pay?

Guy could very well not have inputed it into the system... I would call to make sure.

Had it happen to me with a speaking ticket in the territories, went to pay off my tickets and found out there wasn't one.

I'd say so. But I would call and double check to make sure it's not in the system anywhere.

If the ticket is hand-written there is a high likelihood that it will not be processed by clerical staff until the weekend is over. Either way I would wait until after the long weekend and if it hasn't shown up then call their bylaw department

Ticket isn't hand written.. i also search by lic plate, no results
