I have no idea. I just noticed in 1 scene he had an ultra modern helmet and non-standard g suit. Figured he was test flying a new bird or something.

Tom does have a decent say in his movies; the only "shit" movie he placed his bets on which didn't pan out too well was "The Mummy"
