Hi RS.

I don't know why my googling skills are so terrible.

I'm looking for a camp that I can go to with a group of friends, similar to what we used to do in highschool.

Somewhere we can lodge together, have activities and games, and have food prepared for us.

Do they have camps like this for adults? I know this sounds like a kids camp, but we would love to find a place like this for adults.

this is a bit far and the weather now is not ideal.

Kumsheen rafting.
1) camp site / teepee (read beds and nice setup)
https://kumsheen.com/wp-content/uploads/Kumsheen_Canvas_Cabin_Interior.jpg
2) heated hot tub / change rooms + bathrooms

3) they have a fine dining restaurant for all meals

So that's what we do, rafting + camping (glamping) and the girls won't complain when it's fine dining restaurant. For water rafting, you can do "power rafting", you just sit there (don't even need to paddle)....we had a good 3 days there. Rafting includes a buffet lunch and it was solid 36+ degrees during the summer.

Not sure about activities, but Bodega Ridge on Galliano has cabins and great food.

yup, had the funniest giggles for eons. esp. when sounded out in Cantonese...
Kumsheen if i remembered correctly, means when the two rivers meet (thompson & fraser).

FOOD:
BREAKFAST: Adult $15, Youth $13, Child (7 & under) $6.50 •
DINNER: Adult $32, Youth $27, Child (7 & under) $13.50
seriously, at the middle of no where and you get 3 courses... not bad.
BTW, Kumsheen is at Lytton, hottest place in BC hands down.

There is a bar + camp fires at night etc.

Accommodations:

$139 per unit, plus $7.50 - $10 per person for teepees & CANVAS CABINS. such a great deal.

Rafting:
Adult: $189 for 6 hrs (kids 139), you start from 9 AM, wetsuit + helmet all included, lunch is included too. They are all level 3 / 4 rapids, 40 kms.

You can do 1/2 day for $139 adult.

at the end of the trip, you get a $25 dollar gift cert to go back next yr.

I've been back 8 times... ahahhaahh

If you are not a swimmer, or a weak one, the rafting at Kumsheen is probably terrifying lol

^FYI, don't need to know how to swim (for Power rafting). Wetsuits + life jackets were super sufficient.
Parents were 60+, didn't have an issue and one of them weren't a swimmer. But yes... I can see why ahahahha cause you do / might get thrown off at level 4 rapids.

Yea, I’m fine I’ve been swimming my whole life and was pretty much a life guard at 9, however the last time we went rafting (albeit with Hyak but the same rapids as kumsheen) a girl in our group fell out of the boat and was swirling around in a whirlpool ducking panicing badddddd

She was pretty traumatized after that just layed in the bottom of the boat for the remainder lol :/
