Here's my list.........

Try to be a better person. Encourage others to stay positive. Volunteer more often.

Stay away from laundromats.

And, of course, the usual try not to fail others on RS. Although, it's getting harder each year, lol.

Reflecting back on 2019, I entered the year with a new relationship and am exiting the year without a relationship. Across 2019, I have felt particularly complacent. As a result, here is my list:

Do keto for 6 months or until 40lb loss
Meal prep for 3 meals, 7 days a week - 21 meals
Bake at least once, quarterly
Hit the gym at least 2x a week
Run at a pace of 6 Min/KM (3KM in 18min | 5KM in 30 min)

For the entirety of my life, I've never cooked by myself or for myself. I guess it's time to start, plus eating out less would be better on the wallet (I hope). Assuming that going out for lunch is $15, making my own lunch roughly translates to a cost savings of just under $60/week.

If you're serious about losing weight, dont' do any fad diets. If they worked, there wouldn't be a new one every 6 months. Tried and true method is to just eat less and be more active... As active as I was, I was still eating too much. I didn't lose weight until I ate less. One tip I can give is Metamucil... lol... it sounds stupid but it works. I just needed something to not feel hungry and fiber does that, has 0 calories. I eat once a day, if I feel hungry in between, I drink some fiber. 2 days a week, it's only fiber... no eating... just fiber.. lol... keeps you regular too unless you don't drink enough water then you'll be constipated.

- continue intermittent fasting & no carb during dinner
- get out of bed when the alarm goes off instead of rolling around
- continue getting 8hrs of sleep daily
- let the small stuff go with the other half

I went from being the most physically fit I've ever been (actually a continuation from mid-2018) to the least physically fit I've ever been. Some factors which affected my ~30lb weight gain are as follows:

1. meeting my soulmate and moving in together
2. going on two vacations which involved eating copiously excessive amounts of food
3. taking on two jobs which made my daily workout routines challenging or impossible
4. being too lazy to cook after work and constantly eating out

Thus my resolutions for 2020 are to lose weight and get back in shape blah blah all the usual crap and save money :lawl:

Also I need to stop buying broken cars, so none of that in 2020.

don't forget "cut all toxic people out of your life", "focus on you" blah blah.

but yes, intermittent fasting / time-restricted eating is a must. life changing.

I think the problem with fad diets (keto/atkins/IIFYM/IF) is that for most of them, it's not sustainable. Or other people just don't have the willpower to keep going. My buddy got off keto after 6 months, of losing 40lbs. He's having trouble putting on weight for his weight class now, because he kept going to the gym.

I think people think it's a one time, stay skinny, type of thing. It doesn't work like that tho. My key motivation by doing this exercise is hopefully, through Keto and forcing myself to meal prep, I'll keep the habits of meal prepping and working out.

I went to visit El Bastardo last year and had a great time. I recommend going to paying him a visit when time permits.

For 2020, my resolution is to continue to wreak havoc and be a blatant racist on Revscene. :fuckyea: But in all seriousness, it's time to bring back the stock and noob meets @ Ironwood. This community is falling apart. :accepted: (And I don't even live in Vancouver anymore!) :fuckthatshit:

My resolution is simple, start looking into small investments and exercise even more, probably control my diet as well.

I really appreciate all the dieting advice above.

"Dirty Chink".................. as you once posted on revscene. I have good memory, eh? Got you banned, it did. You didn't even apologize. To your defence, you did say that's what the other students from China High called us. I was called that many a times. Didn't bother me one bit. I just replied with, "Vaffanculo!"

I’m gonna do the same shit as last year and the year before. Whatever the crap I’m doing it’s working out okay.

I need to stop spending so much money on my car. From now on, I'll refrain to only doing the necessary maintenance. Also drive slower and smoother for better fuel economy. This year, I learned that besides doing mods, spirited driving also means you have to replace parts much more often such as brake pads, random bushing, bearings, increased fuel costs, adding up to the cost of ownership significantly. Stuff breaks when you drive hard.

Continue from 2019 into 2020, exercise every day even if it's for 10 minutes (better than nothing) and gradually work up to longer routines. Be healthy.

Be more aware as to what I'm wasting my money on so I can save more. I don't waste food as is which probably saves me money and I've more than enough clothes to last me another 2+ years. Old Navy plain tee's in various solid colors and Costco UrbanStar 15$ jeans = perfect haha.

Quit drinking
Quit buying soft drinks/chips when I'm at a store
Do more baking

Following up with this, I'm now starting month 3 of keto. Lost 10lbs and I am happy to report I no longer look like I'm 9 months pregnant :lawl: Plus I can actually cook decently now ish.

185 squat | 230 deadlifts

I'm hoping to hit 315 on deadlifts 5 reps by June (hopefully)
