ugh.. brand new house, brand new yard but damnit, something is messed with this yard.
i tried to dump a bunch of gravel into middle area...made no damn difference... i might just concrete it .
looks to be bad drainage or bad sloping...suggestions?
where ya landscapers at?

full disclosure, not a landscaper or civil engineer, just a random schmuck
looks like it's the low point in your yard - your upper portion has drains leading to it...plus i see your rain gutter coming out on that end too so i'm guessing your soil is being saturated. can you redirect your gutter water by bojanging a flexible extension somewhere else or even in to a rain barrel to use to water say a garden?

Buy a few sets of wheels and another Acura, and you're all set.

I agree with GLOW, that downspout is probably the biggest reason for your flooding. Try diverting that water else where and see if your situation in your backyard improves. Concreting your back yard won’t help fix your issue if all that water has no where to drain.
mj_39 is correct, if you do choose to hardscape, you still need to deal with water by redirecting it, subtle slope to a drain(s) or a trench drain and then redirect elsewhere.

move the drain, but if they didn't put proper draining underneath towards ur house it could lead to bigger problems in the future.
its brand new house.. use ur warranty can call the builder.
