2021: How bad could it be, right? :badpokerface:

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year in 2021. We all got fucking ROCKED by 2020 at some degree. Mine ended with my beloved cat (he's basically our son) on death's door, but he's going to make a full recovery after surgery. So things are actually looking up for me. It's literally the first time this year that something good happened for us (and only because something REALLY bad happened first).

Of course there's no way that simply being "2021" means everything will suddenly be better. But we have hope that things will improve, with an amazing vaccine already being distributed (thanks Ugur Sahin and Ozlem Tureci for creating one version), we actually can fathom an end to this entire mess.

We lost some pretty amazing, inspirational people this year. Kobe Bryant, Hana Kimura, Eddie Van Halen, Little Richard, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Chadwick Boseman, Alex Trebek, Brodie Lee. And of course people in smaller circles that we know personally. Honor their memories as you see fit.

8 minutes to go for me, I think it will feel like a bit of a relief. How bad could it be, right?

Similar night for us. Minus the wine, and swap Recess with the UK office. What a terrific show. Apples to oranges, but I favor it over the US version personally.

I had no way of going in, anyways, since there's no transit and neither of us was in any condition to drive, so I ended up just guiding someone else through it over the phone. 2.5x with a minimum 2 hours for going in or 2.5x call time for phone (which ended up being 50 minutes).
