CROSS-POSTED FROM THE GENERAL AUTO CHAT FORUMS:

Anyone have information (address/photos/info) on this guy? He was organising track days under the group JAYSTRACKDAYSFORFRIENDS and organised some events in Alberta this summer. He collected deposits from about 50+ people for events at Rocky Mountain Motorsports Park, Strawberry Creek and Area 27. All track days were cancelled right before they were to happen (tracks never even received deposits) and he took off with about $30K (estimated).

He lives in Vancouver/Burnaby as far as we know, is involved in the Porsche community and has done legitimate track days before. We are putting a case against him and would appreciate any information if you know him. Google search shows that he was involved in some small scams in the past.

He's scammed several people I know in various start up businesses that never happened. Also has a major gambling problem. Good luck

I know this is wishful thinking but I hope those who were scammed get their money back and this guy does the right thing.
