Hey RS,
Just found this out, Andrew Schulz released pre-sale tickets for his show June 8 @9:30pm
Passcode is Andrew
Tickets are reasonable ~$88 for lowers and $67 for balcony.
His last show was good, figured some of you might want to jump on these. I'm sure they will sell out.
Should be a good show.

Thanks for posting, I actually had no idea who he was and googled him... appreciate the code anyway tho! Always good to have the chance to jump on these things.

Wow, I don't think I should waste money on these kinds of things. I would feel so bad for my entire generation and reinvest that money for the future. What do you think, Revscene?

Who?
He is part of the rogan comedy sphere. Has a few podcasts. His main one being Andrew Schulz's Flagrant with Akaash Singh. I don't think he is that funny.

Sorry, my dumbass assumed everyone knew this guy.
He's a comedian.
This was a clip from his last show here in Vancouver. I thought this was a pretty funny interaction.

Watched a couple of his vids on YT just now. What's his schtick? Racial shit? Why's this whitey always ragging on Asian people?

He's not a Rogan goon, all of these guys just use Rogan for help since they want part of his massive fan base.
Andrew started getting super popular by the crowd work he does, then Matt Rife caught on started basically doing the same thing and that's how he got super popular.

you want to be in front row seats for this show.
this is definitely a strong candidate for 'no need to start a new thread'

I've watched some of his stuff online. I think he also has stuff on Netflix. I enjoy his crowd work. Sometimes they're funnier than his actual set.

I don’t like it when comedians work the crowd. It just seems lazy. Like you don’t have any material and you’re just killing time. If I wanna make fun of someone I’d just come to RS

An OG told me to always start a new thread because you have a higher chance of getting nominated for the RS Awards. So, I've been padding my stats for awhile, but I still never get nominated.
I wAnder why............................... that was waaaaaay too easy.

I don't mind, as long as it's entertaining. Harder said than done, because it depends on the comedian's ability to think fast, create material on the spot and stay in flow.
But I get it, it's kind of improv and not everyone wants to see improv when they expect a set piece.

^ this white dude was surprisingly fast and witty on his feet with the nuances of ethnic jokes ... brown, middle Eastern, Asians ... and nuances of Vancouver. Impressive.
But yah, I'd get tired of that after 5 mins of roasting 1st row audience members sitting beside mixed racial 'dates'.
ive seen this guy without having a clue who he was. i thought he was pretty funny.

Yeah I'm not a fan of it either. Most of it seems to end up being either very obviously scripted or a boring conversation with a very forced attempt to say something funny thrown in.

None of these guys are funny. Katt Williams agrees.

Schulz podcast buddy Akash Singh had a self released special (no one wanted to buy it) about bringing back Apu and you could tell he did not watch the Simpsons because got a bunch of facts wrong. He also had a special that was all crowd work.

Dude, she would probably pay for tickets, drinks, and likely dinner before the show, so It might be worth it.
Maybe i'll get some favour and she'll put me in the will?
She would 100% be disgusted by Andrew Schulz though. I wouldn't put her through that.
donk.

I was going to make a peanutbutter joke in the other thread about grandma and will chasing lol
Glad you two beat me to it here instead
