Lamborghini Fenomeno

https://youtu.be/BKxp9yeOIuI?feature=shared

Schmee gives a first look at the limited edition Lamborghini Fenomeno.

Only 29 of these cars are made.

Price? 3.5 million U.S. (estimate)

0-100 km in 2.4 seconds

Your thoughts on this car?
Is the Fenomeno considered phenomenal?

https://youtu.be/BKxp9yeOIuI?feature=shared

From Schmee’s video:

Fenomeno features the 6.5l NA V12 combustion engine revving to 9,500rpm, supplemented by a trio of electric motors to make the most powerful Lamborghini ever at 1080cv.

While the engine gets to 835hp (up 10hp from Revuelto), there's an additional 55hp coming from the electric system, combined with a new 6D sensor that communicates everything the car is experiencing to optimise the dynamic capabilities. There are new CCMR Plus brakes, manually adjustable shocks, revised suspension, with updates to various functions and systems.

Even if Lambo were to build 2900 of these cars (100x their current production target), I'd still be galaxies away from being its target buyer, but here goes my 2˘ on the car:

Yays:

- classic Lambo silhouette -- very nice!
- that Lambo presence everywhere -- front end, profile, rear end. Basically it is oozing Lambo-ness everywhere, and from every angle.

Nays:

- 6.5L NA V12 + 3 electric motors, and all you make is < 900hp combined?! What kind of weak sauce power output is this?

- those 2 extra large patches of black on the hood. I'm sure it serves some kind of heat dissipation / aero function, but my goodness... are they ever ugly.

- the steering wheel is far too busy. I don't want to feel like I am driving a spaceship.

- I hate centerlock wheels

The tinkering I do with all the modes and shit while I'm driving the X5 would drive you nuts

I looked up Google Translate out of curiosity for the English translation of this Italian word.

Fenomeno in Italian means “Phenomenon”.

This Lambo better be a phenomenon with
an estimated price of 3.5 million U.S. hahha.

$3.5M USD, only if you spend "xx" millions and Lambo thinks you are worthy. Lol.

That's the thing though, no one cares if it's actually better. Ppl just collect these things cuz it's new and limited. They all end up in a garage next to the next limited one.

I would spend a lot of money if Lamborghini did a limited time re-release of the 96 Diablo Roadster with a modern drivetrain and tech... BUT it can't be a modern interpretation like what they did with the Countach. It has to look exactly the way it did in '96. Pop up headlights and all... Not gonna happen though..

Just got back from Monterey and had a chance to see the car up close at the Lamborghini lounge. Though it's nice, it's not $4+ million nice. That said, I like the design more than the Revuelto.
