My mom drives a 2017 Porsche Cayenne and the wheels are curbed to shit. The tires could use replacing too. I’m thinking of going with a bronze finish for the new wheels, but I haven’t been able to find anything in Canada. I’m considering ordering a set from China. What do you think?

you could make it a weekend project to fix them up yourself if you're willing :-)

I did this years ago for my FK8. Bought a set of Enkei's off craigslist for like, $100. They were massively curbed, and couldn't be balanced... But for a winter set they were fine. This was all by hand (sanding), some primer/paint/matte clear coat. I have seen these wheels on various FK8's over the years being sold lol. So they are still going strong.

Get a smaller wheel with bigger sidewalls to take the hit from the curbs

FBM has quite a huge selection of Cayenne wheels, so there is always that. Most come with tires having some amount of tread as well.

Of course, that's in Vancouver, and I seem to think Manic is on the Island?

I'd rattle can the stock wheels bronze before tossing no-name wheels from China on something that large. Especially when you know they'll be kissing curbs.

It looks like they can come with 19-21" stock, so maybe go smaller for a better ride and less curb damage. PMC has some bronze 20's. https://pmctire.com/wheels/art-replica-wheels-replica-295-bronze-satin-bronze-20-x-9-45-offset-5x130-bolt-pattern-7150mm-hub-r2952002-pid-7633371889844?fmk=225274

Like Evofire said don't bother. Unless the rim is cracked, or bent just put new tires on. I bet you within the first day you put the new wheels on she is going to curb them again.

What's the smallest wheel you can put to clear brakes, just do overland style, more sidewall for comfort and going over curbs
