because they can charge more for a e class coupe Vs a clk...coupe based on the c class....

nope, current and past CLKs were based on the c class chassis with styling similar to the E class....this is one of Mercedes cash cow models.

Apparently it will be priced nearly if not the same as the E Klasse.

The rear windows look weird though. They artfully covered the fact in most of the photos.

Nice car. Park it next to a BMW 6 series, and I'm pretty sure I know which one most people will pick.

However, park it next to an Audi A5, and it get's a lot harder.
