that doesn't look very comfortable to ride for a long distance/ time nor does it look like it would hold u in the seat very well for hard turn maneuvers .. not to mention it doesn't look very intimidating..kinda like how the volvo's are in sweden or w/e lol

There is an option for sports seats for statetroopers/highway cruiser versions with the SHO ecoboost engine. The flat seats are easier for entry & exit, which is what most cops do 1000000x more often than high speed cornering pursuits.

Oooh looks fast, I'll take my chances and flee on foot. The cop will probably be a fat pig anyways.

at least police don't drive 335i on duty. that would be problematic in vancouver
looks expensive
If it's based on the Taurus, it would be way too small.
Anyone know the engine information? Looks like a gas guzzler.
scary looking shit
looks pretty nice for a cop car.

it's based on the ford taurus, and the standard engine is the 3.5-liter V6 Duratec that makes more than the standard Taurus V6 — over 263 HP. But it's the second powertrain that police officers'll be pining for — a twin turbo Ecoboost 3.5-liter V6 delivering 365 HP and 350 lb-ft of torque. AWD is optional. |
at 365HP AWD is still "optional"?? really?
