got a stupid question... what does a racing rad cap do? any difference than the stock one?

the cap has a spring in it, it opens under different pressure, the stock one is 1.1kg/cm, both aftermarket ones are 1.3kg/cm

soo what does that do?....

it increases performance of your radiator
