how much does a ticket cost? and I've heard everyone gets one free ticket or something? how does that work... my friend said theres a number on the back of the ticket u can call and request to have ur ticket be voided?

Yes.. There is a number on the back of the ticket that you can call to void the ticket. Shoot, and here I thought we were all being suckers and paying fines.

"1 free ticket" refers to a parking by-law ticket that can be voided once in your life in Vancouver whereyou park overtime at a metered spot.

One time per plate. I don't believe it's tied to driver or owner of a vehicle.

I don't think that that would be the case...

Otherwise, you could just keep on switching plates.

If you act like an adult to the cop they usually just leave you alone. A cop caught me taking a leack by a nightclub last weekend and I told him sorry im in mid stream and he just laughed and told me that i could get a ticket so nextime find a bathroom. Remember cops are people too if you treat them like people they usually treat you like a person......well depending on where you live lol
