We have Polk Audio, Pioneer and DD 8" subs. What do you want it to do and how much can you afford?

I'm looking for SQ with good clean hits and something that can hit low also.

I have an 86 Corolla GTS hatchback and my plan was to be a long thin box than a square one to keep as much room in the trunk as possible.

So far review wise I hear. DD's and JL W7's are the best to aim for.

For the sub it's self I'm thinking of going maximum $200.
