Yea there were alot of cops this weekend. I was coming home at 3am on saturday and watched some guy's car get towed on 2rd and francis, then drove further down 2 road and there were flashing lights near 2 and westminster. And of course more cops in more random locations :\

They're also present on the no.4 exit from the 99 highway. BS place to catch speeders.

they are ALWAYS on knight, just before the exit to Westminister, I work in the business park across from where they usually set up and I see them all the time.

Everybody is comming home from their long weekend trips today. Highways will be packed, cops crawling everwyhere.

Where does HWY 99 connect to No. 4 Road? I can't picture it in my head.

HWY 91 ends as it intersects with Shell Road, then with No. 4 Road. That's where cops ALWAYS are, catching people not watching the speed limit as the highway ends. It changes from 80k-60k as you enter the city, but people still zoom right on going like 90K.
I saw one cop on foot hiding behind a tree with a radar gun one time clocking people just past Shell, sneaky sneaky.

last night i was driving on hastings into burnaby and went pass atleast 10 cops

i read somewhere that cops were driving up/down the highways in undercover cop cars driving the speed limit and once someone passes them they pull em over.

saw a civic get pulled over on westmin and garden city, cops been riding knight bridge all morning but was clear just now when i went through

Cops on no.5 road, just after the overpass (you know the part that is built like a 6 lane highway) heading southbound. wtf, are the cops getting 1.5 quota points because its a stat. holiday?:rolleyes:

isn't may long weekend the highest crash/fatality weekend of the year?

there's a good reason cops are out.

it doesn't matter if i drive 50km/hr. cops pull me over if they feel like it. i literally had a cop pull me over so he could check my car out.

watch out on boundary and lougheed going west/east bound. There are 2 cops underneath the underpass with there with radars hiding behind the pillars.

the police announced that there would be a big presence during the long weekend b/c there are so many accidents during this time. So, at least they did give fair warning.
