help ghosting
 

so this is for a project i have for school and i have to install xp on a couple of computers

using norton ghost 14

when im making an image of C:\ does it copy the boot record also meaning will it boot up in another computer with the copy drive

all computers are the same

there is also an option for copy my hard drive
has anyone used this option before
im not sure if this one copys the MBR

If your creating a disk image then yes everything including partitions and MBR will be copied over.

i just did a copy of the the hard drive but it wont boot up
any reason for it ?
