Np. this car is solid mechanically. No leaks or problems. It'll easily run another 80,000kms as a daily. Then after that, you can always do a SR20DET swap ;)

the last time i spoke to him about this he said he was researching how much it would cost to convert to 5spd.

For the 5spd swap, because some parts are interchangeable with other years, you can get all the parts for up to $500.

UPDATE: price is now obo. Serious buyers please come check it out and give me an offer!

the last time we spoke, he's trying to get hard numbers, and is trying to find parts that are actually available, so that he dosen't waste your time.

i hope he looks at yours. i've been looking for a long time for him here on RS and it's been one fail after another (car was bad or he couldn't afford it) :rolleyes:

can anyone here following this thread suggest good sources for parts and a competent mechanic with good rates who could do a 5spd conversion? not looking for backyard bodge job with junkyard beat on parts :(
