Helping an Immigrant find a job..
 

This guy I know has been in canada for 5 years now, hes english is excellent, he works for paladin security.. He has a background of computer programming form where he came from.. But, unfortunately his foreign experience and qualifications are not recognized in Canada. Im trying to help him find a course for network administration, because thats what he wants to do.. perferablly a short 6 month course that doesn't require any prerequisite to take. Is there such a thing?

BCIT is the way to go. But 6 months doesnt seem to be enuff.

just take alot of courses during the 6 month?

There are only so many hours in a day.

Get MCSE/CCNA.. 6 months is do-able..

network administratrion is a shit boring job as well as not really paid that well in vancouver.

^ 50-60k for a Network Admin is decent in vancouver.. what the hell r u talking about?

but in the USA and other parts of canada, the same job will pay well over 60k.

^ In the US, he won't be making anywhere close to 50k if he's a new immigrant...

+ who's gonna hire him in the US, with more than enough human resources as is

and he won't be making that here either. 50-60k? yeah, with 5+ years experience. fucking joke
