always remember this, shops that spam RS make money off you! they charge money for their services, what do we charge you? NOTHING.

Its their choice to advertise on RS, heck i even just posted up our pricing to advertise on RS. spray bombing a shop does nothing but cause trouble and yields absolutely nothing out of it. Advertising yields 2 fold for any shop, name association, selling of goods and services that customers would not normally know of. If RS was getting rich from the revenue generated, then i should be driving one of hyde's mythical exotics.

I have nothing bad to say about R G., im sure they are a pretty good shop, even a had a friend work there, however i need to protect the rights of advertising vendors on RS. They keep this site running, spam doesnt.

but its also our right to protect those that sponsor, those that help keep RS running.

Its a concept i have a hard time grasping sometimes because i always get ppl saying the users help keep RS running. it is true, but lets take it to this scenario, you go to a shop, get some work done on the car, do you expect free labour? Will you use the arguement, "i come bring business to the shop, i should get free labour" the same can be applied to RS, we do give out free "labour" by allowing free access to RS. to offset that cost, we charge advertising, not crazy rates, enough to pay for the servers, to keep them hamsters on the running wheel, and to pay for events such as the summer meet. Securing a lot of that size is not free, securing a lot of that size requires red tape and yes, INSURANCE. securing a lot of that size also requires a lot of convincing and trust, that we are not some punk ass site that will trash the area.

So I understand and can appreciate why sponsors get certain privilages on RS and why certain shops cannot be named because of the same reason.

Now my question is what if these vendors abuse their privilages and mass post, cross post in different forums? Are they still held to the same rules as regular members of RS?
