Bullock reportedly loves TG so much, that she's angling for a spot as a Star in a Reasonably Priced Car, adding "one day I will be on Top Gear, even though the helmet would make me look so bad - and one day I would like to wreck the car in a blaze of glory." If Marky Mark can do it, we're sure Ms. Bullock would be just fine.

Bullock says the reason she loves TG is the show's hosts, and for that reason she says she's glad the U.S. version of the show was a flop before it even started. We never knew we had so much in common with Miss Congeniality. Well, her big break did come in the movie Speed, so she couldn't be too bad, right?

Sandra, who is also a fan of the show's presenters - Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond - added: "They tried to do it in the United States and it failed.

"It deserved to, because no one needs to remake it. Those men are the show.

"It only really works with those great gearheads who bicker, who wear clothes you don't expect and come in shapes you don't expect.

Speed star Sandra wed bike builder Jesse James in 2005.

Jesse, 37, used to host his own show, Monster Bikes, and now the couple love nothing more than a night on the sofa with Jeremy Clarkson.

Sandra now wants a shot at the show's well-known racing challenge after watching movie stars such as Hugh Grant, Mark Wahlberg and Helen Mirren try their luck on the Top Gear track.

She said: "I would love to be a Star In A Reasonably Priced Car.

"I want to do it. I saw Helen Mirren and she rocked it.

"They would have to give me American steering.

"But one day I will be on Top Gear, even though the helmet would make me look so bad - and one day I would like to wreck the car in a blaze of glory."
