FS: '93 Civic Hatch w/D16 VTEC swap!**reduced!**
I have a sweet little red EG for sale that needs a good home. It was going to be a project car but my 350Z took over in that department. I am the second owner and I was with the original owner when he bought it at Sur/Del Honda - it has been a great car! Here are the details:
- 1993 Honda Civic DX hatchback - 288,000 kms on the body - 150,000 kms on the D16 VTEC motor - 127 hp! - AUTOMATIC (was going to do a 5 spd swap) - Brand New all season tires on stock 13" rims - New radiator, muffler and exhaust (stock) - New timing belt and water pump - New brakes all around - Interior clean (non smoker and no pets!) - CD player and new speakers - Pop-up sunroof - Red paint in decent condition for its age - No major accidents - Aircared - Service history included (I have many reciepts!) - Engine has some warranty left on it. The bad: - Some small dents here and there - Some rust on the driver's rear quarter Other than that, this car needs nothing! Its a great first car, commuter car, winter beater or project car. A certified and licensed mechanic (a friend of mine) named Mark. I helped out. Swaps are fairly easy on these things. The engine still has some warranty left on it too.
I am somewhat flexible on the price. |

Yes, its still for sale. I had quite a few people come and look at it but nobody flashed the cash! The car is located at the address in my signature. :)

Is the VTEC functional after the d16z6 swap?

All you need is a VTEC ECU which is about $50 and a two wire hook up and the VTEC will be fully functional. I was going to do this but figured the car is easier to market without it.
