Replacing 42" Lcd screen
I was given a Toshiba Regza tv by my brother. His kids threw something at it  Is there a company out there that will come to your house and replace the screen? the tv is worth $1300 so I am willing to fork over $600 to get it fixed. thanks.

prices of tvs for a 42" goes less for 1k |
:lol I like how he gives it to you and then his kids destroy it
go get a new TV :) |

I'm pretty sure the kids threw something at the TV and his brother decided to give it to him to fix for free instead of just scrapping it. |
^ how I understand it too.
try looking for one used that has a damaged circuit or burned out bulb or something, and swipe the screen from that. or swap your working parts over. |
Dynex 42'' 1080p LCD HDTV** (DX-L42-10A)-799

It's pretty much never worth it to get LCD panels fixed.
Most of the cost of the unit to begin with is the LCD panel... |
toshiba's new tv is fairly cheap
42" is about $1200 52" is about $1800 |
I went out and bout a 46" toshiba Regza 120hz 1149.00+ at furture shop!
|
ya with prices like that, it doesnt really make sense shelling out half the cost trying to fix it...unfortunetaly
|
^ thats why you look for another busted one, pick it up cheap, swap parts as needed, and you've now got a sweet TV for dirt cheap, and a bunch of spare parts. the tricky part is finding a model with a compatible screen, the good part is half the manufacturers use the same screens so there's probably 20 TV's you could jack the actual screen from.
