Which router to get?
 

I'm planning to buy a new wireless router not sure witch one to get I'm thinking between these two:

I've had problems with previous D-Link router never had a problem with Linksys routers. Don't know which to go for now. Any suggestions?

I currently use that one. Not doing really well for me with the wireless range.

Range expanders are cheaper than new routers.

Range Extenders may not be compatible with his existing router and the network performance degrades compared to connecting directly with a primary base station.

My suggestion is for you to either build a wireless bridge with another WRT54GL, or just go with a new "N" router.

I'm using Linksys, and the signal is very reliable.

I've had good range with the dlink dir655

linksys all the way...i've tried probably 3 differnt brands, d-link included, in total...with linksys, being the least to fail (network wise), easy to set up, etc
