Hey all, I am looking for a guy/girl to help fix my notebook DC Jack. I know that I can go out and buy a new notebook but it's too much trouble as I have all my work stuff saved in it...

Not worth fixing.. Most computer companies will transfer data to new machine...

So there should be no reason not to buy a new one, plus if its faulty now and your doing a quick fix then chances are it will happen again in a months time..

Trust me I have seen enough toshiba satelites to know that once there is a problem there will always be more problems..

Haha, I was in the same situation two years ago. The power jack is busted, it won't charge the laptop. I ended up building a brand new PC from scratch.
