all i could think of was that the police car was stolen, like in that police chase tv show where a cop pulls someone over and the thief somehow steals the cop's police car, and the cop had to use the thief's abandoned car to chase his own crusier down and do a pit manoeuver on it into a ditch :o

No it's actually just a normal car, with police written on the side of it, and police lights on top, and a police officer driving it.
