there will be a 7spd DSG offered, and some more attempts to shed weight.

WTF? MK6 not event hitting the road yet here.

the mk6 is more of a facelift of the mk5, as a transitional model until the mk7 arrives.

acutally, there are mk6's on the road now. westminster vw had a bunch of mk6 jetta wagons delivered, and on one of the vw boards someone took pics of an mk6 gti on a vw lot in ontario...

i prefer the current gen

me too, but i like the mk6 interior better... but from what i've been reading online, there are comments about vw cheaping out on materials with makes me sad :(

Actually looking into getting a mk6 gti myself, wanted the genesis 2.0T but gti is so much more practical

very true...mk6 runs on same platform + engine + transmission as mkv haha
so its perfectly normal for VW to be dreaming up mk7...i wont be surprised if theyve been working on mk7 since mkv's midlife :P

looks a bit too sharp for the Golf but definately interesting look

it looks ugly.... really it does the 2010 "R" version is sexy
