Pete Tong - As popular of a DJ as he is, unfortunately after attending two of his events locally, I personally don't find him all that great as he "programs" his set. Super uncool to the greatest extents of DJs with no "real" talent.

I know the movie guy wasnt "pete tong" but I thought real pete was serious a deaf !!!!!!! fuck !!!

I was confused at first too when I first saw it. The movie isn't ABOUT him; it's just the title. "The title is a reference to a rhyming slang phrase used in Britain in the 2000s, referring to the BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong, standing for "it's all gone wrong".

It's just coz it's a catchy phrase, and it's about DJing, that they called it that.

Frankie Wilde is the deaf cokehead DJ that's the main character. Pete Tong is the one who is interviewing him early in the movie.

Since it says at the beginning "based on a true story," most people fall for it until they hear otherwise. Sadly, despite all the great cameos (Tiesto, PvD, Carl Cox, etc) it's still 100% fake.

Anyone go to see Pete? I heard it was pretty solid.
