I don't think it matters where he is applying. The video shows that he can plan a project from start to finish, apply manufacturing skills, component selection and installation, he pays attention to detail, and he knows his shit.

It shows that he isn't a fat chinese kid sitting on the couch with "better things to do".

He has decent cinematography skills.
