Telus internet

My friend is trying to port forward for xbox live on his siemens gigaset se567. He enters http://192.168.1.254 in address bar. But it says it takes long to respond. Any way to figure this out why it takes long to respond?

Power cycle the Telus modem/router. The web interface crashes, sometimes.
