HK Christmas Dinner
For those who are in HK, where is some decent places to go for Christmas dinner for two. Not looking to spend a fortune, so roughly $400-$500HKD per person would be ideal. I was looking at some of the hotel restaurants and they have set menus from $1400-$3500 which is crazy for me.
Any suggestions would be great, thanks! |
MX :D You can have your personal hot pot sets for $35 HKD ^^

Our tradition since moving to HK is to go for roast goose for xmas dinner :D There's a great place in Mong Kok for roast goose (original location in Yuen Long, which is famous for roast goose).
Actually it's been my family's tradition for a long time, to go out for "Chinese food" every xmas eve with my cousins and aunt & uncle. At the time, they were the only restaurants that were open on xmas eve :lol |
Go get a turkey from a hotel and eat at home. :)

I think i'm going to have to resort to R66 just for the view :(. Unless anyone else has another suggestion of course.

Hydes house?

@ Skinnypupp
isn't Sham Tseng supposed to be the most famous area for roast goose in HK? |

It's called Chan Kee I think, original location is in Sham Tseng but I just go to the location in Mong Kok :) Not this year though! Just got home from Taste, where I bought a 10 lbs Butterball turkey :D |
Will the malls and other stuff be open on christmas or is everything closed and dead like in canada?
|
Malls closing in Hong Kong? Never! :lol
|
Go to Hyde's. They have lobster...at least.
|
^ Bring some Grape Drank while you're at it!
