I would actually buy it if the crash tests were on par compared to something like a fit or yaris, for 8,800 it's actually not that bad looking (except the gas tank lid is a tad too low and the entire back end looks like someone tried to assrape it)

But then you've got to think to yourself... where did that $8800 go towards this car? Yes, I know labour is cheap, but considering that price includes markup for dealerships, how much in that thing is actually worth that price? Where did they cheap out?

It's not the fact that it's a Chinese car... Any car that can be priced that that point is a little iffy.

Then again, although the conversion might work out to $8800 CAD, we can't compare that price to other cars that are already in Canada. IF this car was brought over, I'm sure the price would be adjusted accordingly.
