^ It's completely automatic. It does a "search run" to find its way to the goal. Then it does a "speed run" for the fastest route possible.

wow... that some harsh optimizing and algorithms involved... how does it know what route to take?! man i've designed a mouse in a maze with some basic sensors and hell it took on the scale of tens of minutes for it to find the cheese
