Workout Music
Hope this isn't a repost :(
Like a lot of people, i use music to self motivate myself whenever i go for a jog etc. But what i've been finding is that a lot of my collection lack that upbeat tempo that usually makes me go that little bit further. What do you guys recommend? techno? house? heavy metal? |
Cardio only? I usually just listen to some hip hop

Yeah,when i lift weights iam listening to rock.
When i am going for my long runs....i found these songs through the NIKE site, beleive it or not, and i can't beleive its been helping me mentally during the runs. They are really upbeat, ongoing mixes that are about 45 minutes each. I seem to run best when these songs are playing. Nike+ Original Run soundtrack: De La Soul- Are You In The Crystal Method - Drive Im sure u can find a couple of samples here and there on the itunes site, youtube, nike etc.... |
Wow, thanks, ill check out that nike site mixes. Its insane how music can make you push that much farther.

For cardio, I use some rap because i find it has a good rhythm and rock, and for weights I use heavy metal and rock, some rap in the mix to make me feel like a pimp haha. Also some house in there too.
