WTB: rsx type s with blown engine

I know this is a long shot, but some I'm looking for an rsx type s with engine problems: spun bearings, head gasket or any other problems for cheap. or even if someone has a shell

only criteria is the body and interior should be in good condition

the reason i'm looking for this is cause I'm building up a k24 block to drop into an rsx, and with a type s, I wouldn't have to upgrade too much.

if summer rolls around and I can't find a blown rsx or a shell, I'll bite the bullet and buy a running one... but it seems like a shame to dismantle a running car.

well thanks for reading.

if you decide to look for a 'running' condition type S look on craiglist... there are several Type S over 200K km...i seen some under 8000 dollars...therefore, you can get a Type S with an engine that is time for an engine swap..and you get a decent interior / exterior at a reasonable price.

As for a blown engine...that might be a slim chance since these cars are built like a rock haha.... Good luck though !

yeah that would be an option for sure if I can't find a blown engine rsx. I know it is a honda, so finding one that has a messed up engine would be hard, that's why I said it was a long shot. but no matter how well built, if neglected it then they'll have problems. so I thought I'd put it out there in case someone doesn't want to deal with installing a new engine.

thanks for taking the time to reply.:D

no problem... just i thought even with a 'blown engine' type S it will still cost you around the price of a 'very used' type S ... so might as well find a very used one ...
