Red Dead Redemption

i'm really looking forward to this game! reminds me of the old Outlaws game i used to be play on pc.
there's also multiplayer which is a huge ++..it's out 2 months time.

Looks pretty awesome, havent gamed in a while but this reminds me of Gun which came out a few years ago for the ols consoles

The motions are very fluid and life like. It looks more real than many sports game. I'm looking forward to this game too

Revscene posse anyone?

so its an open world with human players too? kinda like WoW?

seems interesting, lots to do from the previous 2 videos so far.

not quite..i believe free-roam only allows 16 people with posses of 2-8. so you can have different posses fighting each other..or against AI

not sure about the other modes.

I am also excited about this game~ All my friends are skeptical because it has a cowboy setting. They don't know what they are missing out~

We should form a posse when it comes out.

the multi player part seems to be fun. It has more stuff to do than mindless killing of each other.

I'm still kinda confused as to how the multiplayer free roam goes.

So it's either single player free roam with computer ai everywhere, like a campaign. Or else you can do the exact same thing, but with friends in a posse? And also there are other game modes in which you can do posse vs posse?

Red Dead Redemption pushes the envelope of the open-world experience. Instead of lobby screens, the player is placed into the single-player map and given the freedom to explore with a lobby consisting of up to 16 people with the additional option of creating a "posse" ranging from 2-8 people. While exploring online the player's experience will share many of the same features which can be found in the single-player experience. At any given time the player is able to roam the country hunting game, search for unassuming, unsuspecting settlers out on the trail, serve vigilante justice by the gun, enjoy the scenic beauty of the expansive map, or assume the role of a lawman seeking to bring order to the chaos that was the west. Gunning down innocent civilians will warrant the same punishment as the character would receive in single-player while the player will be rewarded for completing challenges having to do with serving justice to bandits terrorizing the countryside. Within free roam, players have the ability to create groups or "posses" of up to 8 players. Within these groups, players can hunt, battle it out in skirmishes, become outlaws and evade authorites, attack gang hideouts, and other things to be revealed at a later date.[10]

Also similar to GTA IV, the player will gain experience points as they play in the multiplayer modes. There are 50 levels of character progression, with experience points unlocking new weapons, mounts, characters and challenges

Hmmm i'll probably get this but not on day 1 though Lost Planet 2 and Modnation takes up my May :p

red dead revolver was the BEST game ever (for original xbox)
