Shaw remote?

I just picked up a Shaw HD box Model # DCT6200 box and when I use the guide on the remote sometimes it gives me the list and other times it doesn't is this normal? or how can I fix this?

if u JUST picked it up - it need 24-48hrs to sync the guide.
