Photo prints
Does anyone know the type of printing process/paper that is used for prints you see in photo galleries? not crappy ones but like those photog galleries that have prints selling for $10k. The Print looks so fine and the color is actually shiny on the paper. any ideas?

im thinking fuji crystal archive or Ilfochrome. Any labs around here with those facilities? Expensive i know but with the right image is worth it.
anyhow if you've seen any of peter lik's prints. thats what i was talking about |
Oh, maybe it's the Fuji Crystal Archive Gold paper? Ilfochrome is for transparency film. I saw his images in Vegas while I was at WPPI last month. Some of them were on EPSON Duratrans I think.

is it expensive to print on? anywhere in the lower mainland to that does them?
|
I'm sure The Lab will do it. For the Epson Duratrans, you might want to check out Tricera too.
