if they have their Personal Computers that they could lan together they won't have a problem... they should recruit Starcraft players or WOW players... 520days would be a breeze for them

lol if they decide not to do the mars trip, they can change professions to be a pro starcraft player. haha thats a lot of practice time XD..

no internet no TV.. only work out and conduct research
i dont know if im able to spend 520 days doing that

Pretty sure researchers or even post-grads wouldn't mind this at all.

People spend much longer times in Jail and they turn out fine.

what if one of them start dieing in there, do they just leave the guy? lol

They maintain communication with Houston. They can always stream TV shows & download porn through that connection.

I know it's about research but they REALLY should send them up with a couple chicks... I mean... after that amount of time in that little area with another dude... you're gonna want to get laid... as difficult as that would be in zero gravity...

They should supply the guys with a conch.... just in case. lol

Why no tv or internet? I am pretty sure you can still get the signal from earth.

But in Jail, they get to go outside and breath fresh air, as well as to walk around in the yard. These guys will be stuck in a room not even seeing the light of day for 520 days.

I hope they bring a lot of fapping material, it's going to be a lonely 520 days.

That's 520 days to GET to Mars, and another 520 to get back.
1040 days wasted on a Space Shuttle is not how I would want to spend my time.
