Haha..I had the exact same debate last year when I decided to upgrade my brakes!

Here's the thing..For bling factor, Spoon definitely wins..It's Spoon! The name, the colour, the fame...And they work well, no argument there...BUT! They only run stock-sized brake pads, and to me, that's not enough..I wanted to run bigger rotors, and the Spoons just won't cut it with the stock-sized pads..

With these Wilwoods, they run much larger brake pads compared to stock brake pads, resulting in larger rotor surface being used as well...And these calipers are humongous when you compare them side by side with Spoon calipers! They are also very light, weighing at 4.4lbs each...Hence the name Superlite ;) Brake pads are relatively cheap, and you can even get a complete rebuild kit for these calipers if you ever want to do so..

Anyways, paired with the 323mm (12.72") rotors, this setup grabs really well, and I had never experienced brake fade when I ran these...Heck, I don't think I ever got them to heat up at all! lol...But yes, braking feels much more solid, thanks to non-floating calipers, the four pots, and the larger grabbing surface..Going from 200km/h to a complete stop is a breeze, with no vibrations or whatsoever! :thumbsup:

hmm, I'm on jdm 16"s but will be running a 10-15mm spacer up front, think it'll fit?

How much modifications would I need for it to fit my 6th gen accord it's 5 bolt.

damnit ed, you're beating me to the next upgrade.

The only thing we have to measure would be the rotor hat offset, as well as the hub bore...The 5th gen Preludes are a little weird..Wheel hub is 64.1mm, but the rotor hub bore is 73.1mm..

But other than that, I know calipers would bolt on, since you run the same calipers as the DC2 Type-R, 92-01 Preludes, etc etc..And for brake lines, most Hondas seem to run the same size fittings, so that shouldn't be a problem..

Again, the rotors would be my only concern :)

out of curiousity, what is the minimum wheel size you can run with this setup?

You will need 17" wheels to clear these calipers :) I've tried a few 16" wheels, none of them cleared..These calipers are HUGE! Mind you, I've never tried 16" wheels with low offset..Those MIGHT work..No guarantees though, and it would have to be quite a low offset, at least +25, if not lower..
