Police officers with radar recorded the speed of the motorcycles at 220 km/h. The speed limit was 100 km/h.

Each of the two men received tickets of $1,848 in addition to 30 demerit points on their driver's licences. Their licences were also suspended for seven days.

Police said one of the motorcycles was not registered, and its rider received an additional fine of $438

if you did you'd almost be better off taking your chances and running, especially if you already dont have insurance :p (not really though, I think the new laws for that are pretty ruthless now)
