side note- telus isnt working around metrotown area- anyone noticing same thing?

My buddy lives by Patterson, and he was having troubles with his Telus last night.

Telus is extremely slow at the moment; I live around the Metro/Burnaby area.

so after complaining I got a free month free. Little do they know that I just called telus and inquired about their xbox 360 plan. Damn I feel like a dick :(

say guys are any of your HD channels coming in as "Not Authorised" ??? in particular OasisHD ??

that channel was a free preview for awhile.. you must have either the current hd plus package (not the grandfathered one), hd education or subscribe to it individually to be able to view it

ah thnx i was like "but i do have hdplus" did the online chat with shaw and found out they have a new hdplus that's $4 more and the only difference is OasisHD -_-

was offered the channel for $2.95 -_- oh well discovery and national geographic will have to do

haha at least you ain't one of those that calls and thinks they should be getting it for free because they were never told it's free preview ~ we had a lady threatened to call the police because she no longer gets channels that she never ever paid for because we didn't put a filter in yet.
