P.C. Air Became the First Airline to Hire Transsexual as Flight Attendant

Peter Chan, the President of P.C. Air, mentioned, “I think these people can have many careers, not just in the entertainment business, and many of them have a dream to be an air hostess. I just made their dream come true.”

Peter also mentioned that as long the applicants have good communication skill and offer customer service, they would be considered for the position. He said the transsexuals do not necessarily need to go through surgery and a combination of transsexual and non-transsexual would be hired.

Pattaya, 2007 Miss Tiffany Champion, a beauty pageant competition for transsexuals in Thailand, was hired by the airline as flight attendant.
